CRESTED BUTTE REEL FEST
The Crested Butte Reel Fest is a competitive festival focusing on films under 40 minutes in the categories of animation, comedy, drama/narrative, experimental and science fiction for both regular and student categories as well as documentaries under 60 minutes in both categories.
We are particularly interested in new works which are interpreted creatively, that have a clarity of expression and are of high production quality. We strongly encourage student entries. The filmmaker must choose the category for his/her entry.
Located in Crested Butte, Colorado, the Festival's goal is to nurture a growing interest in film as a form of art and entertainment through exhibition, discussion and education while discovering and promoting creative, independent and alternative films and filmmakers.
