Personal Testimony
I was born deaf and raised in a Christian home. Everything my family did revolved around our church. I thought it was the way a Christian should live. But everything changed when my father died during an open heart surgery when I was 8 years old. I struggled with Romans 8:28- "God caused all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are calling according to His purpose." It didn't seem to fit my circumstances. A year later, a speaker came to my church. Even though I didn't understand the words he spoke, I knew he was talking about Jesus. I remembered what my father told me: Jesus loves me and died on the cross for my sins. I went forward to receive Jesus Christ into my heart as Savior and Lord. Romans 8:28 had been my lifeling ever since.
